Library books will be issued for seven days only, and students should return the books within the scheduled dates failing which a fine of Rs 5/ per day will be charged.
While borrowing books from the library, the students should carefully examine them for any possible damage to the book and bring it to the notice of the librarian immediately, failing which they will be responsible for any damage detected later (cost of a new book will be charged). The students will not mend the damaged part of the book.
Do not lend your library books to your friends.
Make sure your hands are clean when you handle books, keep away from water, food items and don’t throw the books while you place it on the bookshelf.
No textbooks or personal belongings are allowed inside the library.
Strict silence to be maintained and only pair study is permitted inside the library.
If the library book / journal / magazines are received for reading, then that book should be submitted before leaving the library room. It should not be left on the table or on the desk.
While reading the book turn one page at a time and use bookmark to ‘SAVE’ where you have stopped reading to find yourself at ease to continue further reading later on.
Do not write, draw or scribble in the library books.
It is mandatory for students to return the books before Holidays and the school examination. If necessary, apply for issuing the book with all its details.
Keep the books clean and treat the books with respect.
