Khalsa Model Senior Secondary School, situated at Dunlop, Kolkata was established in the year 1969, by the Gurudwara Sikh Sangat, Dunlop, Kolkata. The bud of Khalsa Model Senior Secondary School burgeoned first in the courtyard of the Gurdwara and finally flowered as the present colossal structure to enrich and empower children through education. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (Affiliation No. - 2430010). Classes are held from I to XII. There is a separate Kindergarten section called The Khalsa Model Kindergarten School which has Classes NUR, KG and UKG.

Till today the school is managed and administered by the Sikh Sangat Gurudwara Committee, Dunlop. Its aim is to impart quality education to girls and boys with a wider vision of developing their intellectual, moral and spiritual potentialities, to enable them to grow into integrated persons with self-esteem and positive values in life, with awareness of social justice and world peace.
